I don’t know about you but even though it’s still only November, my December diary is full!
With various events to attend, I thought I’d give you some tips on one item that will see you through the festive period as you will dress it up and dress it down accordingly.
The sparkly blazer.
This is such a versatile piece which you can team with full on sparkly trousers for a real glam look. Or dress down with jeans and trainers for a more relaxed, drinks with friends vibe.
When you choosing a metallic, there are a few considerations:
1. Firstly, are you going for silver, gold, bronze, or red, blue, green etc? Think about your colouring, so for example, if you have cool undertones, silvers will work better for you. Gold and bronze will work better for you if you have warm undertones. Of course, you can choose colourful sparkles and use your colour palette as a guide.
2. Think about the shape of the garment, ensure it’s right for your silhouette.
3. If big sparkles are not your thing but you’d still like to add a little, why not go metallic footwear? Could be heels, boots or even fashion trainers.
Whatever you choose, have fun with outfit building. Try with your denim, your tailoring and don’t be afraid to mix and match textures.
And don’t forget. Sparkles are not just for Christmas!
